Hello all,

I am a Dutch guy and great fan of all British Cars. In December 2010 I have bought my first Jag, a Jaguar X-type 2.5 V6 from 2001.
I enjoy driving it and think it is a great looking car.
I have had some small problems and forums like these are a great source of information.

Thanks for the welcome. I already have used the forum for information because I have had several problems with the Jag. I have it for 3 months now and had to change a broken front spring, the rear anti roll bar and both katalyst were replaced (thankfully by the company that sold me the X-type) to cure a CEL. But one can expect a few problems with a car that is 10 years old and has done 266.000 km on LPG.
The problem I have now is a software crash after a fault updating the sat nav, so I drive without radio, climate control, etc.
Still, I think it is a great looking car which drives very well and is a lot of car for the money.
