Default Hello

I just purchased a new to me 2000 S-type 4.0. I purchased it as driving to work car. I love the look and design of the car. One problem I am having is the front suspension kind of floats. When I hit a bump, sometime it pulls to the right and the steering wheel is all ways floating about. Other than this the car is in perfect condition. What could be the problem?

The S typers will be happy to welcome you onboard I'm sure and help where they can.....hopefully resolving any issues you have and save some $$$
Your issue sounds like a steering rack, possibly track rod ends, bushings etc being worn and need replacement

share some pics when you can please!!

Loads going on, plenty of very friendly and helpful members as well as some excellent tech advice......all good!

In the meantime I've manually upgraded you to full forum access so you can better view the site

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

One other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
