Default Hello

My name is Chris.
I've been searching out forums to do research on Jaguars for a future (maybe tomorrow) purchase. I'm going to take a look at a 74 xj6. Unfortunately its an already converted V8. But for the price its worth the look. I started looking here and there for fixer-upers for awhile now. started as new as possible but I kept falling in love with the older ones the more I looked at them. So here's to hoping for little rust....

Welcome to the forum Chris,

Good to have you with us.
You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a rust free car in Phoenix!

Thank you,

Hope you're right. My experience has come across more transplants as you look at older vehicles.

Thank you JimC64,

Good to be here.

Well I looked at the 74 xj6 after work, has potential (I think everything does though). Had bowling ball size holes in the driver and passenger floors, couple of other minor spots around sill plate, gm crate 350 and 350 trans (around 1500mi. claimed), conversion was clean, interior almost doomed to the Arizona sun. Guess I'll keep looking...
