Default Hello!

HI Everyone

I'm new to Jags and Daimlers.

I always liked the mk2's but these are very expensive here in UK.

Hopefully one day I may get a nice xj series 1. I think they look fantastic!

Anyway, the reason I joined is I have a set of carburettors that are a mystery as to what they are off. I've spent days searching with no luck. The current stockists of SU carb parts think they may be off a Daimler 2.5 Conquest but the ID tag on the carb is incomplete.

I was hoping if some of you fans might be able offer some help in identifying them at all?

Cheers

Purdy

Welcome to the forum Purdy,

Good to have you with us.
If you can post up the details and some pics maybe someone can help.
The General Tech section is probably best General Tech Help - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum Purdy,

MkII's are getting expensive everywhere.

As well as Norri's suggestion on where to try for details on your SU parts, have a look at the MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section to see some real Jaguars in the process of resto.
