Hello All
Hello all,
I'm a new member to this forum. My name is Gino from the North West of UK.
I have loved Jaguars for a few years now, first car (10 years ago) was a trusty 4.0 XJ40 which I put many miles on and carried out much work on. The next car, which I still have, is a 1996 XJR6 with 100k miles on the clock, I have had lots of fun with the car and learnt a many things about the upkeep and on-board diagnostics.
Unfortunately because this car became a 'fair weather' driver it's started to get used less & less, only 2k in the last 12 months which I think will ultimately destroy the car (soon to be sold).
My current car of just over a week is a 2009 X358 which I absolutely love, especially the fuel consumption!!
Its like anything though, although the shape is basically the same as the previous XJ's the car itself is a different kettle of fish which I'm now looking forward to learning all about (air suspension springs to mind).
From what I can see there is a wealth of knowledge on here, from my experience, forums such as this are absolute gold dust, being able to quickly identify all sorts of problems and passing on tips from other like minded enthusiasts who are speaking from first hand experience.
Look forward to posting!!
