Default Hello from Boston!

Hey all, hows it going? New guy here... I stumbled upon a late 60's E-type 4.2 convertible sitting in a back yard, I currently do not have any pictures of the car, has been sitting for 20 years or so. The car is complete, pretty rough, but its all there and I was thinking of making the guy an offer on it, I know its tough to gauge without seeing it but would anyone have a ball park idea of what it might be worth? I'm a VW guy and don't really have much experience with Jaguars.
Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forum jmw, tough question, don't know about US prices but if you are going to do it right then be thinking 40k to 50k just on restoration expenses on top of purchase.

Welcome to the forum,

I'd guess Richard is in the ballpark on costs, but there is always the opportunity to spend much more.

Welcome to the forum!

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
