Cool Hello from Central Florida

Hello everyone. I am a first time Jaguar owner. I purchased a 1982 XJ6 for $1900 a week ago. The car is beautiful and runs well, but I have a couple of questions.

1. The sunroof switch does not work. Where can I get that replaced?

2. The audio system is not working. I don't know if I have to replace the whole system or just get a wiring diagram. (My son is a certified auto tech, but has not done a lot of work on jaguars)

I want to thank you all in advance. I will probably ask silly to stupid questions, and I hope you will all have patience.

Hi Terriy64,

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you got a good deal on a new (to you) kitty, congrats. I cant help you with your questions but Im sure one of the guys will be along shortly with what you need. They have a wealth of information here, just about anything you will need to know about Jaguars. Enjoy the site and your new baby.

Welcome to the forum Terriy, if you look in the XJ6 FAQ you will see a link to download the electrical diagrams for your car. Simply follow the links.
