Just joined the forum today. Attached is a picture of my 2008 XJ with more photos to follow.

 

Where would I post a question under the model section of the forum? The XJ category runs from 2003-2007 and 2009+?

I think you will fall into the earlier section, I'm not an expert on XJ designations but I think the X358 ran through to 09. maybe we need to change that?

 

Actually, yes the 08-09 XJ has some minor cosmetic differences from the 04-07 models, but it is basically the same car.
Maybe if that XJ section could be expanded to 2009 that would be perfect?

Here are some more photos. This is the first Jaguar I have ever owned and after this car, very few other cars can even come close. It is truly a pleasure to drive and stare at too!

WOW what a vehicle! That by far is my favorite Jagaur, the white with the chrome wheels looks fantastic! I would love for thewifey to"trade up" her S Type for that exact vehicle.

Thanks. There is nothing like the color black and chrome. But having owned two black cars and my obsession on having a detailed car to drive was not a good combination .

The 08-09 XJ model is my favorite Jag model. While I find the new body styles very nice, as a purist it was too much of a deviation from the "Jaguar look" for me.

I spent 8 months looking for the right car and took money out of my 401K to get it but I have no regrets.
