Default Hello everyone ! From winter peg(winnipeg) Manitoba, CA

Owner of a '09 jag xf. Recently purchased the vehicle last summer and I'm already paying the price for hurting my baby in this -40 degree and below weather. >_<
Glad to be part of this forum. Hope to help and improve jag forums as though it were my own personal mechanic .
=P

Welcome to the forum M_Arq,

Minus 40! .................. I'm curling up in shame at grumbling about the temperature here being a couple of degrees below freezing for over a week.

I can see you've already found your way to the XF tech section so no need for a link from me.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the Canada Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-mexico-south-america-41/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Here in England we've had one crazy 2012. We started with droughts and water restrictions and then went into our own version of monsoon period which led to widespread flooding. Then later we got the usual snow which totally disrupts all travel. This year we are into yet more rain and floods and now for the past week snow. And guess what, our transport is yet again totally disrupted. Last night here in Chester we visited a local restaurant. It was lightly snowing at 19.00hrs as we walked the 1 mile into town. by 2100hrs we noticed the snow was quite heavy. Tried to get a taxi home - no chance. Tried for the 'bus - stopped running. Took to shank's pony. Today - nine degrees centigrade and a big thaw which will lead to more flooding. HELP.
