Default Hello Everyone! Would love some opinions...

Hello, new here!

I would love some opinions from everyone here.
Ive had a Jag for almost a year now, but i think i am going to trade it for a newer model.
What i have is an x-type 2003. Just had my first major mechanical problem with it and i think it is time to let it go.
Now, i know most of you here are much more experienced with Jag's than i am, so what model should i look into?
I love the Vanden plas, S-type, XK8, & XJ8 so thats a start. Which one would you think is most "reliable"?

Thanks!

They are all pretty reliable if you look after them.
what was your major mechanical problem that makes you trade car?
Glad to have you in the jag family!!
Need more info on what kind of years you looking at on those cars so as to advise you further.

Hey...
Well i am not looking for anything older than a 2004
My car started heating up, it leaks the coolant when the car is running, before it even gets hot, has battery light on(i just bought it a battery), and check engine light is on. From what i noticed(i dont know much, im not a man) fans are not starting up.
I will take it to get fixed at Alpine Jaguar(dont even want to know what ill get charged), and i will trade it for another Jag. I even thought of trading it for a BMW, but for i fell in love with my Jaguar so i will stick with a Jag.

Even though i really wouldnt want anything older than a 2004, i saw some 2003 S-types R and i LOVED them. Do they tend to have frequent issues?

Thanks everyone!

One day i got in my car and turned the radio on, and i noticed the speakers sound weird i really dont know how to explain it....Like muffled? and not lloud like they used to be.
I think i have to buy some speakers, would you turn the radio on tommorrow and tell me please what may be wrong with them?

Just messing with ya both...thread seemed kinda 'intimate' so thought I would raz ya. Don't tell me you techies don't have a sense of humor? Wernt you the one who informed me on the previously owned firebird on the roadside in arizona that never had an oil change? That cracked me up.
