Default Hello forum, new member from NY here

I just wanted to say hi and thanks to all the help so far. I recently bought a used stype 4.0, and had the common problem of no heat. With the help of the prior postings, I was able to troubleshoot the problem to the ever so popular heater control valve. I found a new one online very reasonable and now can enjoy the car in these winter months. I didnt change the valve myself due to lack of available time. I also kept the old valve and took it apart to see what happened on the inside. I took pics if anyone is curious of how bad the valves can get clogged. Thanks again and happy holidays to all.

Welcome to the forum rick c,

Good to hear you've already found useful information here to help with your S-Type.

You should put a post on the S-Type section with the pics of the valve as it always helps to know why things fail.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
