Hello From Hanahan SC
Well about 4 hours ago my wife and i purchased a 1995 XJ-6. Its our first Jaguar and we are very excited about the car. We had looked at several different Bimmers and Mercedes because she really wanted a decent luxury car. At first she turned away from this one because of a 7-series we'd seen in Florence but after doing a little research on carsurvey.org and edmunds i talked her into going to see this one... once she saw it and took it for a test ride, well SHE was sold!! Only a few small details(extremely slow moving sunroof and the Coolant level light is on even though its full) its in awesome condition. I will be searching for all the help i can get to keep things going right because my much better half will be driving it. SOoooo thanks in advance for all your help lol

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

welcome from me as well! There are a few xj sections, so find the right one for your model year, and dive right in. Have your wife sign up if she likes separately, we have several female members on the forum that will make her feel right at home.
I have heard the 6cyl jags are very reliable in the engine department, and that style is a classic. We hope she enjoys driving it, and you enjoy working on it.
