Hello from NCAL/States.
Just wanted to stop by and say 'Hi'. I have a 2000 S-Type with 87K original miles (original owner) and very happy with it. Everything is stock except an aftermarket CD-changer I added myself. I've had no major problems (knock on wood) and thus far have only had to replace the radiator reservoir tank. [Yes, the dumb plastic part on the drivers side with exposed plastic pointing towards the hot engine].
PS Yes, the s-type isn't a 'pure' Jag but it appears to be an interesting hybrid Ford/Jaguar crossbreed. I do like that our local Ford dealership actually recognizes the car and charges almost half the price for service than the Jaguar dealership. e.g. front-disk break job was $450 USD versus $750 from Jag.
