Default Hello from new member (UK)

Hello all.
I have just purchased my first jaguar but have been a long term fan.
I have purchased a 2003 XJ6. It is British racing green with cream leather and walnut trim.
Sat nav, rear seat entertainment, electric blind CATS suspension etc..

It has 99k miles but full jag history. Last service had rear wishbones replaced, new heater matrix, new parking sensors and new air pump due to intermittent lamp illumination. Seems like all the things I was going to look for when viewing it..
The car drives great, especially after coming from a M sport BMW diesel coupe! The Jag is slightly more comfy ;-)

The only niggles with the car are:
A few minor paint chips
Tiny bubble rust on one front arch
One rear seat screen does not work (looks as though the screen has power as it changes brightness slightly when switched on )

Any thoughts on these or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum chrysos.

Attack that rust bubble as soon as possible, they tend to breed.

God to see you.

Thanks Richard. I appreciate the warm welcome.
Can the rust be treated as per a steel car? It looks like it is very superficial. Do I need special primers, prep etc!

Cheers
