Default Hello from NYC...

Brand new here. Glad to find you guys! Just bought a 98 XJ8L down in Florida. Fingers crossed that I don't have too many nightmares with my car. I know how high-maintenance they can be.

Welcome to the forum Paul,

The way to keep costs down is regular maintenance and doing as much as possible yourself or using a local indy.

Follow Norri's link to the X308 tech section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' section there is a good place to start checking for regular issues.

Enjoy the XJ8L and the forum.

Graham

Thanks everyone! Where can I find a maintenance schedule online?? My car is at the shop so I don't have access to my info.

Also...was looking into getting an extended warranty.....5 years, 100K miles for $3,000. Any thought on doing that? Worried about pouring $$$ into this baby at rapid rate! lol
