Greetings to all!

I purchased an XJ8.

I have been a gearhead since in high school. I am 51 and works, owned and restored many cars. My brother was always a Jag fan where I leaned towards BMW and Mercedes.

I always like the look of the older Jag sedans and the 98-03 were always striking.

I test drove the 2001 recently a multiple times from a private individual. After negotiation and purchase I got the car home to find it has a moderate knocking sound from about 3 minutes after starting until the car is driven about 6 or so miles. Even after that the engine lopes a little. So is this my welcome into Jaguar ownership? Haha.

I have very above average garage with a lift and storage space for 6 vehicles.

I currently have a 1951 Buick Roadmaster, a 1966 Ford truck, a 1985 Buick Riviera, a 1989 BMW 635 CSi, a 1992 Buick Roadmaster, a 1998 Buick Roadmaster and now the Jag.

Yes I am hooked and yes I love Buicks. I have restored many Buicks over the years as well as about 3 BMWs. I tend to do stock restorations on my vehicles.

I will get my "Garage" set up with pictures as soon as the sight allows.
