Welcome! Texas is a big state: I'm in Dallas, where are you? Owning my 02 Jag XJ8L has been a joy these last four or so years. It still had a year or more remaining on extended Select warranty when I bought it. Jag dealer in Plano treats me like royalty even though I didn't buy the car from them. I use them when necessary, a wonderful independent Jag father/son team when appropriate, and do occasional repairs personally when possible (brake pads, rotors,, etc). Odometer now reads 77,000 miles. So far I am a verry happy camper! No matter how you manage it, Jag (and other luxury cars) are just more expensive to maintain. You will be astonished at how helpful knowledgable members of this forum can be; Share your own experiences and it will be even better.

Welcome to the forum; I'm also in Texas (Dallas to be precise). I'm certain that you'll like it here; it's one of the friendliest and most helpful forums of which I have ever been a member.
