I'm surprised it took me this long to realise this forum existed.


I always wanted a Jaguar, even as a young kid, but thought it was something that would take me well into life to attain. A beautiful rhodium silver XJ6 fell into my lap unexpectedly two years ago and I fell in love with it on sight.

The car's mostly in good shape, but needs upholstery work soon. The engine runs beautifully, but the transmission (BW66) died while I was away for university. I didn't have the car with me during university. Now I'm almost finished rebuilding the transmission (yes, I'm doing it myself.) I'll be so glad to have it back together and running again. The poor car's been sitting for absolutely ages and not driving. I have just been running the engine every so often to keep it healthy, but that's about all the attention it gets.
