Default Hey all newb here

Ive always wanted to get a jaguar since I was a kid, finally my dream is coming true. As much as I would love to roll up to the local dealership and roll off the lot with a brand new one, that just is not in the cards right now as I am still in college hahaha. Ive been looking at early 2000 S Types and X Types. The most I can realistically spend is 15k. Most ones I have found have 60-70k miles on them, again hard to find anything lower at my price range.

It is not that I do not have the money for general maintenance, but I dont want to have it in the shop every other week. So basically, is it worth getting a "gently used" jaguar or am I going to be in way over my head? hahahahaha thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
Your best plan would be to look for a 2003+ car, 15K should be more than enough for a good one.
Where are you in AZ?

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you. (When you have it)

Welcome to the forum.

Good to have you with us.

15K is a good budget for a used S Type. You should easily find something.

Default used S type

Liberty Buick in Peoria, on Bell road, has a one owner 2001 S type 4.0 with about 80 k on it. It is white and in excellent condition. I drove it a few months ago. Not sure what he is asking for it but I believe it to be around 9-10 K.
Car is in excellent condition.

I ended up with a 2006 X type with 84k on it for 12.5 K.
