Default Hey From Delray Beach!

I'm Rick Pardo, a (very youthful) new retiree relocated form White Plains NY. I'm a former CFO/COO by vocation, and a certifiable car guy as a vocation. Currently, I own a '09 TL/AWD/SH/Tech pkg/on 19" that replaced a BiTurbo A6. My wife's ride is an '11 A5 'Vert.

Looking to replace the TL within the next year, not because there's anything wrong, but I want something new. This habit has been costly in the past, as I've been known to switch them up every year or so.

Current "look see's" are XF w/19's, and Sport Paks in/out, and a bunch of other options. Priced out at about $69k. The A7, also priced similarly, and a base Panamera w/AWD. at about $80.

This is a car crazy bubble, as I've seen cars on the street that I've only read about, i.e., a McClaren, various Lambo's, Ferrari's, Bentley GT's and Massies, all of which have some kind of custom work done.

Even in great weather, I'd prefer an AWD car. I've driven one for many years and like the flexibility of control. It's not just useful in snow or mud, but also comes in handy in the torrential rainstorms we get down here.

So.... the question to the forum is simple...who's compared these 3 cars and why'd you choose the XF?

Welcome to the forum Rick,

Good to have you with us.
Your best bet is to ask the XF owners, you'll find them here XF and XFR ( X250 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome Rick,

Hope you enjoy a long and happy retirement.

Follow Norri's link to the XF section for advice and opinions. Word of warning - they may just be slightly biased towards the XF.

Graham
