I'm the owner (first and only) a 2006 X-Type Sport in silver with all options except the navigation system. I live in Michigan and until recently its been a very trouble-free vehicle. My skill level in automotive related items is moderate. I don't live remotely close to a Jag dealer and am looking for good information about the car and how to resolve issues as they arise.

good to have you here. you don't need navi. you have a jag. go where ever you want and enjoy the long way getting there.

 

Thanks for the welcomes everyone... My X-Type has been a fabulous car... 109,000 trouble-free miles... and I love the Sport model. I didn't even have to replace the brakes until about 97,000 miles, a record for any car I've owned.

Alas, time catches up with everyone/thing, and I'm at a point where help is going to be needed. I'll start posting some questions and hopefully I can keep her in good condition.
