Default Hey jf

I have a problem. I need a new engine. I want to find a rebuild kit, but I haven't had any luck. I was told that I could replace the Jaguar engine with a small block Chevy 350, but I don't know if I will need any extra parts to make that work. uuuuggghhh!!!!!

Hello Jagluva and welcome to the forum. I'm sure someone here will be able to help you with your decisions and technical advice, but you'll have to provide us with some information. Usually we ask that you put the model and year of your car in your signature.
Good luck!

Default welcome to jaguar forums

Welcome to Jaguar Forums.

You posted in both the X-Type and XK8/XKR sections about your problem.

Since your post in the XK8/XKR section at least hinted that the vehicle in question is a XK8, your post in the X-Type forum has been deleted.

You might want to expand upon your post in the XK8 section so that others can give you the most helpful suggestions.

Good luck!

I'm sorry. It's a 2001 Jaguar XK8, 4.0L

Welcome to the forum,

Sorry to hear about your problems, FWIW I'd stick with a jag engine.

Welcome to the forum.

I don't think I have heard of someone 'lumping' an XK8.

You'll kill the character.
