just a quick one,

saying Hi,

i'm BB aka Brake buster, i live in the UK and have two jags

1999 XJ8 Sovereign 4ltr


1989 5.3ltr V12 XJS which is currently under major restoration ( last three years so far )


i do a lot ( in fact all ) of the work on the cars myself, including a XJ8 timing chain tensioner replacement project on my own drive......[&:]

all the welding etc on the XJS , pictures available if your interested in such things,

you will se me around quite a bit i expect

thanks chaps,

as for the advice, yup, it can go both ways, but only from what i have learned on my own cars, i'm an electrician by trade,

as for the XJS , yup, its one of those ' it gets done when it gets done ' jobs, as funds are limited, and i have had to throw a few quid on the XJ8 in recent months, ( tensioners and tyres etc )

i have recently finished rebuilding the front suspension on the XJS and have now put her back on all four wheels after nine months in the air, been doing a few little jobs in the engine bay , but will move onto the last bits of body work in preparation for painting soon, she will be white again, as she has the Mulberry interior
