Default Hi

I am very proud to share my story.

I used to own a ford p/u. After failing to pass smog my boss offered to sell me her car. I thought she was joking. She wasn't and now I am the proud owner of a beautiful 1997 XJ6L. When I got it it had less than 100,000 miles and I paid very little for it. It has slight front end damage the headliner is loose(from a bluetooth device) not ripped just sagging. Just recently the steering has stopped adjusting. I can here the motor but it doesn't move.

Any suggestions would be welcomed. Im also looking to replace the floor mats. They are very brittle and cracking.

Thanks

Hi Motogirl and welcome to the forum. You'll find some very knowledgeable folks that are very willing to help you solve whatever problems you run across. If you head over to the Models section you'll find info specific to your car.

Welcome to the forum,

Nothing like a good boss is there?
Head on over to the tech section and ask the guys about your problems.
