Default Hi

I have visited your forum many times before joining and found it a very informative resource. I have owned a 2000 S-type 4.0 purchased with all options available when they first came out. My oldest son owns that car now. I currently own a 2003 S-type 4.2 I bought 5yrs ago. Now that all kids are getting out of the house and I no longer need a 4-door, 5-seater, I am now looking to buy a either a Maserati Gan Turismo (2007 or newer), or a Jaguar 2003-2006 XKR, as I love that E-type look and I think the price is getting right. I also suspect they will be as collectable as the E-type in the near future. The Italian car is still over-priced I think, so the Jag is more compelling. Thank you for having such a much needed site that mere mortals like I can use as a resource.

Love Italian, British and American (Muscle) cars

Welcome to the forum aj007,

Good to hear you've found useful information here.

Isn't it great to be able to get back to impractical cars once the kids leave!

As a regular visitor you'll know your way to the XK8/XKR 1996-2006 section. There's buying guidance in the FAQ's. You could ask the guys whether to go for the Maserati or the Jaguar but might just find them a bit biased!

Whichever you decide to go for, enjoy the search.

Graham
