Post Hi All!

Hi all. My name is Mike Q and have recently acquired a 1999 Jaguar XJ8 4.0L. I am completely new to owning a Jaguar. My Jaguar was my Grandfather's last project on his "bucket list". He recently passed about 8 months ago. His "baby" is now my "baby". At the fine age of 82 he personally completely rebuilt the engine @ 172,000 miles and repainted the body himself. I have to say he did a fine job. My goal is to complete his project and enjoy it every bit as much as he did and looking forward to it.

Welcome to the forum Mike,

Sorry to hear of the loss of your Grandfather. The XJ8 is a wonderful way to remember him.

Follow Norri's link to the X308 section for help, advice and information. With the engine rebuild and the paint already completed, there will hopefully be no major issues outstanding.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
