Default Hi All - Ann Arbor, MI

1990 XJ-S V12 Coupe Automatic

Hi everyone. I picked up my jag while I was stationed in Texas a few years ago. I've done some stuff like changing both thermostats, putting in new fuel pump and filter, coolant flush and of course all my own oil changes. Now that I've finished my degree and got a job I can afford to continue fixing her back up.

I managed to find a good mechanic that knows what he's doing a few days ago and he helped me fix a starting problem. I thought it was the ignition control module or the crankshaft position sensor, turns out he found that it was just a corroded wire. Still more work to be done on her before a new paint job.

Hopefully you guys can help me out along the way and maybe I can help some of you too.

Welcome to the forum.

Nice to see you.

Corroded wires are mighty rare on old Jags, you must have been unlucky.
