Default Hi from Cumbria, UK

Hi all,

I've just rejoined the Jaguar owners, I used to have an '89 V12 HE XJS - would still have if fuel weren't so expensive!

I've always loved the shape of the X-Type, it's as reminiscent of old Jaguars as you could want it to be, without looking dated. So yesterday, I bought one. It's a 2004 SE Estate (family man now too, so Sports Coupes and GT cars don't work as well for me as they used to) with the 2.0 litre diesel engine from the Mondeo TDCi and a five speed manual box.

There are, however, some problems... about which I'll be posting in the appropriate forums very soon!

Cheers,

Adam.

Welcome to the forum Adam,

V12 + Family + Fuel isn't an equation that works nowadays!

Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help, advice and information. If you're new to this model, the 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the UK Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/ to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
