Default Hi - New to the Forum.

Hi Guys,

My name is Bic and I'm from Titchfield, Hampshire in the UK. I have a 2004 S-Type 2.7D which I bought in January. Last year I had an X-Type 3.0 but unfortunately it was written off after about 3 weeks - luckily the insurance paid out but my premium has more than doubled!
The S-Type was on about 69k miles when i bought it and is now up to 87k miles. Just had it serviced which was fine except for the cost of replacing 4 tyres!
Really Enjoying the car and happy to have fellow enthusiasts to share my enthusiasm with

Bic

Welcome to the forum Bic,

Good to have you with us.
Not too many diesels here but plenty of S Type info to be found in the tech section S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum Bic,

I'm sure you've heard all the jokes so I won't pen another.

Hope the insurance premium was the only other hit from the accident and no one was injured although, with your mileage since January, the fuel bills must be punishing the wallet.

Follow Norri's link to the S-Type section for help and advice. Also, as a former X-Type owner, drop into the X-Type section where your knowledge will be appreciated.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
