Hello,Just bought a 1998 Jaguar XJR.I dont know alot about the Jaguar so I'm sure I will be asking for some help.I live in Grand Ridge IL.The car has 101,000 miles on it and the timing chains and tensioners were done at 85,000.If there is something else I should check please let me know. Hello,
Have a compression test and if it is ok then it should be a solid car . You can check out XJ Forums' FAQs
