Welcome to the Forums 'Thomas Crown' (great first film BTW). An X300 5 speed manual, rare to begin with.

Well the XJR was offered with a manual G/box (optional), so from that aspect maybe OK.

However I would think you will have all sorts of problems, retro fitting an XJR engine.

For technical questions please post into the appropriate forum section ie X300. You will receive much better technical replies.

Thanks (also in my opinion the first is great all the remakes of TCA are bull...t)
the rarity of my jag is that is also a 4 litre (and is very balanced and also get 7 sec from 0-60) so the onlly thing aparrt usual thing i think to do is maybe the engine (i will post in the right section)

Welcome, I didn't hear an X300 AJL6 with a manual box .As for the conversion that might be done but I reckong buying a used XJR should be more implausible
