Hi Sophie

Here in little old England there are many thousands of X-types running around, it is the most popular of the Jaguar range, now sadly no longer made. My cousin in Scotland has one, a diesel engined version.

Don't let the croakers tell you it is just a mere Ford. When Jaguar Cars were formed in the 1930s they relied on the Standard Motor Company for chassis and engines, but this did not put people off as the cars were so stylish and such superb value for money. Sadly they are no longer cheap, (except maybe secondhand), but the style is still there.

Sophie, welcome to the Forums. You will learn a lot here. As for spicing up your X-Type, come on over to the X-Type Forums and we will get you hooked up with what is available and what it may cost you. Unfortunately (not to deter you), there is not a lot of stuff available for our cars. So, what you do get, it will either be fairly pricy or it will be a one off thing. There will be lots of things to talk about in this department. Some of the people are very creative and will be able to lead you towards what you are after.
