Hello fellow Jag lovers, my journey started with a 2002 S-Type V8 which I traded in 2006 for a 2003 XJ8 with Sovereign Package. We also bought a limited edition 2005 S-Type V8 with Sport Package equipped with XK8 interior and wheels, a very rare car. Only 5 were sold in Georgia. It is the only car I ever purchased with an in service date 4/30/2006 that is not the same year as the model. We love both cars very much. There is nothing in the world like taking the XJ8 on long highway road trips. We have taken the big kitty back and forth to South Florida 12 times. The S-Type V8 is a blast to drive for sheer performance. I upgraded both cars with high performance cold air intake filters & heat shields. Would strongly recommend it, both cars get 2-3 mpg better depending on how I drive them, and the S-Type destroys BMW 535's, Mercedes E500's, Audi A6 4.2's, Mustang 5.0, Infiniti M35 and GT35's. The torque range is awesome. My next car will most likely be an XK8 convertible or a XJ8R.
