hey guys, im 22 out of cincinnati, ohio. just purchased a 1998 XJ8, and having a few problems with it. so if anyone could help that would be great. im fresh out of the army, been in 4 years, 2 tours to iraq. figured it was time to get me something nice. and thats me in a nutshell...thanks and hope to meet good people here

Hey there blk n welcome to the forum..........always great to have a member of the armed services on board.
I've met a few American GI's over the years and have always been impressed. Met a guy a few years ago that was in Iraq who stayed with us o/night as he was trying to get from Edinburgh to London but had missed his train.
Glad you got back home safe and hope you enjoy your ride and the forum both.

Welcome from Texas! I agree with twojs above, for all of your dedicated service and the years abroad, you deserve a jag to roll around in. We're here to help you if we can; it's the least we can do for our troops, both active and home safe. i'm going to see what your first problem is if you've posted it already.

Late response from me, but welcome to the forum... I was in the Navy during Desert Shield/Storm in the Gulf. But never got my nice car till just recently.
I am in the Cincy area as well, new to Jags, but not to British vehicles, I have had a Land Rover Discovery for almost 7 years now. If I can be of help, let me know.
