Default Jag s type 2005

Hi all, can anyone help. I have a 2005 stype luxury model jaguar. I have a fine crack in the plastic trim that sits between the dashboard and windscreen .i think it may be called the dash demister trim grill, the crack is in the centre . My problem is i'm not sure how to remove it? It seems tight .

Welcome to the forum jimp6688,

That sounds an awkward piece to get at.

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the S-Type section for help, advice and information. You should post your tech question about the demister vent there.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Australia / New Zealand Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/australia-new-zealand-51/ to find other members in your part of the World.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Welcome to this friendly Forum.
At least your problem isn't too expensive to fix (rare for Jaguars !)

Welcome to the forum Jimp.

Removing the windscreen will give you more room, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Good to see another member from OZ.
