Default Jaguar or Mistress ?

tough call, both can be exciting and expensive. I opted for the Jag. Its a beautiful 2000 XK8 convertible. Driving it home the same day I purchased it, it went into limp home mode with a "gearbox fault". I have owned it for less than a month. Have replaced the TCM and no more "gearbox fault" however, now I have two error messages : "Trac not avail" and "ASC not avail". Lots of threads out there about replacing the battery, cleaning the wheel sensors, etc..

Oh Jeff... the Jaguar IS the mistress! And yes, there is expense. But... well, you know. Anyhow, welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum Jeff,

It has to be one option or the other?

Sounds like you've already found your way to the tech section for the Jaguar option but if not, follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information.

You may also like to visit the US Mid Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-atlantic-md-va-dc-de-wv-65/ to find other members in your region.
