Cool Jbaker1121's Intro thread

Hello JF,

I signed up here a while ago for some diagnostic help on my father's '00 XK8 vert, but I never really introduced myself here.

I actually drive an Infiniti FX50, but my father has owned jags over the year and currently drives the aforementioned XK8 vert.
(as well as the 2010 MB s550 4matic my mother claims to be "hers")

We also had a '99 XJR, which was beautiful and I loved it.... but it met a patch of ice in the winter and was then introduced to a concrete barrier. Nobody was hurt besides the jag. We ended up selling it to our body shop for nothing....

However, we are back in the market for an XJ, whether its an XJ8 or another XJR, so I'll be back on the forums for now snooping around.

We also may go for a two-fer...an XJR for my father and I and an XJ8 for my recently-licensed younger brother...nice big heavy sedan!

My FX50, got it a few weeks ago:

My father's 2000 XK8 vert
(need to get good pictures)

My father's ex XJR
(need to find good pictures)

The family shuttle
(need to get good pictures)

Need to dig up pictures of the jags and what not...

but for now I'll be snooping around getting a little more information about the cars since my brother may end up getting one, and my parents like to put me in charge of everything having to do with the vehicles in the family so I need to know about the cars....
Time to hit the XJ8 and XJR section!

For now, it's great to be here and everyone was helpful last time around, so I'll be looking forward to getting some more information...

Welcome back as it were. Nice pics of the FX, I have never seen one over here. I don't think we have them.

we do love oogling other member's cars...and their family member's jags! look harder for that memory card, I know its small...so enlist a niece, nephew or canine companion with better eyesight that both of us combined

Welcome to the site. I've always liked FXs, but the second gens look a little fishy to me (literally, lol) can't deny the power though.
