First time owner of a JAG!
I bought it with 80,000 miles on it, used of course.
Original owner.
The original owner had some problems that were resolved, a new transmission at 34,000 miles, some 9 years ago. Nothing major since then.
I am looking to find 'known issues' with this model, and what to realistically expect.
Can anyone share their experiences with me?

You'll find some info in the S section, vacuum leaks are one of the most common complaints.

Welcome. I bought a 4 liter S Type about a month ago. Love it. It had a glitch with the heater when I bought it, was a little concerned about it but the Jag dealer diagnosed and replaced a simple little valve for a cost I found more than reasonable. The car is truly excellent. Jag service at least around here is just as excellent. Not a lot of common problems I I've come across in talking to others.
