Just dropping in!

I am glad to see such a great place to visit. I just bought an '05 S-Type R a month ago and have not stopped smiling yet! Silver w/ black leather. I feel like I am 16 again. I look for errands to run for the wife, just to drive it! Spent the first three days in the doghouse after I bought it. I knew I had to grab it when I had the chance. Anyhoo, when I finally got her to go for a drive, I was instantly removed from the DH. Isn't it strange how that works?Glad to meet youall, and hopeto see you around the forums.

Welcome to the forum! I bought my first Jag last spring for my wife (200 S). And she loves it! This laid the groundwork for me to buy an immaculate 2004 XJ8 in the Fall. As in the case of buying my first motorcycle a few years ago, it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission. I am just now getting out of the "dog house" over my Harley, buy money can't buy the smile that riding it puts on my face! :0) Enjoy your Jag.

I too know that trick. Bought my wife a new car on Valentine's day a few years back. Bought my H-D Road King Customa year later...on Valentine's day, and lived to tell about it! I did find out how uncomfortable my couch is though.
