Default Life long Jaguar lover

Hello all,

I just joined the forum today and just purchased my first Jaguar! It isn't new, but it's new to me. It's a '03 s-type R. I'm excited needless to say. Anyone have any points of concern for this particular model I maybe should know about? Also, it's already supercharged, it's a "R". but is there anything else u guys can recommend? Maybe a speed chip or different exhaust?

welcome new guy, already getting the desire to go faster? Hmmm, sounds familiar. There are lots of good threads giving new owners and existing ones ideas for adding some power. But keep in mind, this isn't a large-volume model, so aftermarket companies won't fall over themselves for R&D to make parts for them. There's a few ways to go faster, however, so search, and read on.

Welcome!

I think most of us by "new to me" jags. Few are blessed enough to be able
to buy a brand new one.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

One other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
