Default Loving My Jaguar - Forum Newbie

Hey, Everyone - My Name is Daysi, I recently bought a 2000 Jaguar from the Doctor that I work for. He mentioned 2 me that he had a warranty from http://www.jaguarextendedwarranties.com on the car and he informed me that the warranty can be transferred 2 me if I pay a $100 fee. Are Extended warranties a good idea? What do the members on this forum think? Thanks

Welcome Daysi! What model? I'll step aside and let others answer the warranty question as I have no experience in that area.

Welcome, I think it is great to be 'landing' a few female jag owners in the last couple months. It helps balance out all of this...whatever you want to call it. Glad to have you with us. Feel free to dive right in to the many areas of the forum.

...sausage fest is probably the term you were looking for? (h20, check your pm's!)

Welcome Daysi, in regards to the warranty unless you or somebody you know is quite mechanically apt, I would definitely purchase extended/aem warranty. It'll be a fraction of the cost of repairs, and since your car is an '00, I'm willing to wager the miles are up there.

Either that or just wink at one of the members you live by and I'm sure they'll come running!! hah! Let the leg-humping begin! I'm just kidding, we're all very mature, serious folks around here...

Welcome ! Definitely buy the warranty.I've had my XK8 for a couple of weeks, took me longer than expected to find one with the warranty. My research and the owners/techs on this site convinced me it was the right thing to do, I rest at night with a clear mind and have no regrets on the investment.

You have to have a place to host your pic, lots of free places out there - photobucket, flickr, etc.

Just use a reasonable size 'link' to your picture...that's all there is to it.

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you here. for $100 take it take it take it. seriously take it. The stuff not covered under that warranty somebody here should be able to help. Enjoy the vast knowledge and extreemly friendly Jag owners here. (some are kind of sarcastic).

Have you tried to get your cat in your signature yet?

This is my text from my signature line...

[size=#]Matt '03 XK8 CvTbl[/ color]
[blockquote] ^ added a couple spaces there to show you how it appears. #=1 for smallest font size

The blue link is just my page to the pictures of my car. The red one is the link to the smaller version of my pic. My host server (www.zenfolio.com) makes several sizes for me when I upload just one big one. I am not sure, but believe, flickr and photobucket does the same thing.
