New member....site has lots of info.
What I am looking for is the wiring from the factory stereo to the factory amp, not just colors but conductivity also. Wanting to put aftermarket amplifier in using the factory stereo ( has Nav ). 2000 XK8 Conv. Any help would be great.

Welcome to the forum Q.Nissen,

I see you've already found your way to the XK8 tech section. Check the 'HOW TO' section there for information on the audio system and downloading the Electrical Manual.

If you post your question with details of the aftermarket amp you intend using, there's a better chance of getting help from someone who has done or considered the same upgrade.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US MidWest Region section by following this link Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Q welcome to the forum.

PLEASE do not double, triple your posts. I had to delete a couple already that were in the wrong sections. I have left the one in the General Tech area due to fellow member Gus's reply and the one in the XK8 area.

Thanks for understanding.

Enjoy all the forum has to offer!
