Hello all,

I am new to Jaguar Forums. Not new to Jags. I have loved these cars for as long as I can remember. I have owned an '87 S3 XJ6 VDP, a '62 XKE FHC (basket case), a '94 XJS (victimized by a Merc), an '05 S-type, and my current toy a recently acquired '01 XJ8. I am in the Atlanta area.

I am looking forward to reading the forum and contributing where I can. I have been known to turn a wrench and there is not much that scares me on cars. I have usually been able to fix anything I started out to tackle. My grandfather was a master mechanic and would take anything apart. One of the best lesson he taught me was to pay attention when you take it apart and you can put it back together. The lesson has served me well over the years.

Well, time to do some reading on my latest toy. Cheers.

Greg
01 XJ8

Hello Greg and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.

"I have loved these cars for as long as I can remember."

Well, the first step is admitting you have a problem.

"Hi, my name's Rob, and I own a Jaguar".

Welcome to the forum Greg, my much loved Grandfather was hopeless, if he took something apart it would never work again.

Have fun with your XK

I find the serenity prayer comes in really handy when going to the jag shop. All the money I've saved giving up booze has quickly been reallocated to the jag! Lol.
