Hi my name is John, I recently bought a 1998 xj8 Vanden Plas, I love this car already condsidering I haven't been able to drive it, you see I bought this car off someone who had it sitting in his garage since 05, it was missing a few parts such as the airfilter housing and some other things, long story short I have since ordered the parts and I am now waiting to get this baby going, I got it really cheap and I can see the potential of the car.

I feel I might need to replace the fuel pump too, not sure yet, I hope by the end of this week I can have started at least.

I am excited to have found this forum, I hope to learn a lot form other jaguar lovers. thanks..
