Hello, So I am moving from an American Classic to a British Beauty. I just sold my 1966 Mustang coupe and am now in the market for a XK Vert. This forum has already been an invaluable resource and as with other car forums I have been on it seems that car guys are more than generous with tips and expertise. Can't wait until I find the car but as one last tribute if you will indulge me

Hello Lorwood - and welcome to the forums! What a great pic of an absolutely gorgeous car - thanks for the upload! +1 on the choice of the XK. I love those Jags, specifically the 2007+ models. I just haven't convinced my wife from trading up from the S-type. Something about needing to put the kids in the backseat.

Make sure when you finally pull the trigger and pick one up, that you post some pics for us all to see.

Happy shopping!
Rob

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. As per your requests here are a few pictures of the Stang. Tomorrow is our last day together and I will hate to see her go but these early cars are more about memories as driving technology of this vintage is far from today's experience. whenever I check out a XK and sit in one I know I am making the right decision.
