Hi! I'm John. I am a bit of a vehicle-a-holic. I have 2.5 cars and 4.5 motorcycles (the .5 are project vehicles). I have a '96 XJ6 I love, but usually commute in my Subaru for the mpg. I was considering clearing out my stable and settling on just one car and one bike. I am pretty much sold on the XF, but they are a touch out of my price range at the moment. If I wait until spring when I can get top $$S for the bikes, I might be able to swing it. I may decide to go used anyway as Jags do tend to have a dramatic re-sale drop in the first couple of years. However, I do have the convertible bug so thought I might pickup an older XK8/R for now. Maybe Jag will even decide to bring the diesel XF to this side of the pond in the next couple of years and entice me to go new then. Once I started looking at the XKs to see if that might be the way to go, the more I look the more I want. I started looking on this site to determine how dumb it might be to swap an '07 AWD Impreza for a XK8/R right before winter here in Colorado. ;-) Since I do have an affinity for Jags, went ahead and signed up.
