Hello everyone,

Want to say hi. I just got my third Jaguar over the weekend. It is a 2005 S-Type 3.0. So far, drives like a dream. Getting it was fairly uneventful. The dealership (Manhattan Jaguar in MD) was pretty easy to deal with. However, when I arrived home, fire alarms were sounding, people were exiting the building and fire trucks were out front. There were multiple water main breaks due to temperature, about 14 degrees.

Nice choice in cars..... Is yours silver also? I know, the proper name is platinum.. Welcome to a great forum and thanks for adding a reply to my quest for advice. I hope you didn't suffer any loss in the weather trouble you mentioned. Thankfully my garage doesn't have running water since, for the first time in the 5 years I've had my house, it is actually freezing in there. Frost all over the windows. Had to move all the cleaning chemicals out before they got ruined.

Hi Josworth,

The color is Zircon. It is a silver blue and looks great. Interior is Ivory and Tan. Color combination was pretty much the same as the XJ6 I traded in for it. No problems with our water although some residents had carpet damage. Thanks for your concern.

Hi Jeff,

I'll keep my car, thank you very much. I had enough trouble getting this one. My first choice was a 2004 Jaguar Racing Green S-R, but by the time I was ready, it got sold. Then it was a BRG 2005 S-Type, and it got sold also. I finally found the Zircon one, along with a white one which the salesman tried to pawn off on me in the worst way. I told him I didn't really want it because it seemed as though the only colors I saw were either Black, Silver or White and I wanted something different. In my opinion, the Jaguar Racing Green and Radiance colors are the best Jaguar colors.

Yes, green is Jaguar's trademark color.
