I'm the proud owner of an 2003 jaguar x-type 2.5 awd w/nav premium sound and all the bells and whistles just joined the forum.
I'm thinking of doing minor mechanical up grades as well as minor cosmetic ones.

Things I've got so far
K&N air filter
Tinted windows

Things I'm looking toward
Borla or custom exhaust
Maybe upgrading the suspension
Mesh grill top and bottom

Contemplating debadging the car to stream line the look of the back ?

Welcome, Cavejue: And congratulations on the purchase. As far as the upgrades - to each their own! Everyone will have an opinion and it really depends on what looks best to you. Personally, I like the badges where Jaguar put them. But, I also just had my own windows tinted, and it's made a huge difference in the comfort and the looks of the car - I think for the better.
Happy motoring and enjoy the forum!
Scott

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
