Hi all, am new to the forum and Jag ownership. Just bought 2001 S-type 4.0. Always thought they were a standout due to the grille. shades of yesteryear! am looking to fix this one up (slight body damage on LF) and either resell or give to the wife. will probably need front bumper cover but am going to try to salvage the fender and hood. will try to post pics when can. live in Hardy, Va near Smith Mt Lake. Looking forward to working on and enjoying this car. Got my eye on a nice XK8 coupe if she takes this one.....

Hey Dale, I have a 2004 S-type, I feel the same way about the design of the car. It is a head turner, what color is your 01?

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.

Hey Jag_Man81,

Mine is burgundy w/ tan. I bought it at the salvage yard when I went to pick up a part for my wife's Audi A6. Getting tired of working on Audi's. i know Jags need work too but... new venture. Kinda got hooked while there. They have several I could see fixing up and playing with.
