Default New to Forum

Hello All,

Just signed on to this Forum. Have been on the XJ40 Forum for many years with my 1989 XJ6 VDP. and live in the Seattle area.
I now also have a 2006 XJ8 VDP 350 which is an outstanding car that has given me superb service.

BUT.....got in the car (XJ8) yesterday morning and no start. It cranks fine, I can smell the fuel, it occasionally wants to momentarily start but just will not fully start. Checked the fuses listed in handbook for all fuel and ignition related items.
Looks like this is my XJ8 101 learning course.

Any idea's, comments SOLUTIONS would be most welcome and gladly received.

Thanks

Peter

Welcome Peter, learning curve...you bet, but since you ow an older one, I'm sure the curve won't be as steep as say buying a mercedes. They're like cousins.

Hi Norri,

Thanks for the welcome. It looks like I need a scanner for starters. Looked at the recommendations and will get an "AutoEnginuity"
